It's All About So Cal Right About Now!

Hey Rex-fans, 

I'm now in Irvine playing at the Improv all weekend (except for July 4th). Tonight's first show was incredibly nuts! What an amazing crowd. I'm joined by my buddy and Fil-Am Halfie...Dan Gabriel. By the way, we both demolished the Madrid Theater last night in Canoga Park. Thanks to everyone who came out to support. 

Come and see us both this weekend til Sunday at the Irvine Improv. 

Next Thursday, I begin my first night at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club at Universal Studios in Hollywood. It's a brand new club, so come out and bring your aloha shirts to this island-themed comedy club owned by the amazing silly man, Jon Lovitz. 

As many of you are in total shock of the loss of an amazing and influential talent this last week, I can say that I am truly saddened by his passing. Billy Mays, the best product pitchman in the business. I'll miss his enthusiasm for all those products that have made my world a better place.

Thank you SF Bay Area!

I wanna thank everyone that came out to my four nights of live recording for my upcoming CD...live from Cobb's in SF. We all had a blast, I know I did for sure. It takes a lot of time to work the new material and to get it ready for another CD. It's been how long since the last CD????

Wow, these past 20 years have been a blessing. The comedy. The travel. The experiences. The good folks I've met.

Hey y'all, 

IT'S OFFICIAL...I'M RECORDING MY 4TH LIVE COMEDY CD IN SAN FRANCISCO!!!

I'm back at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco's North Beach District the first week of June. I'll be joined by Ron Josol and Joey Guila....yep, it looks like another Pinoy Boy Lineup. Remember how fun it was listening to my comedy on audio before those damn DVD's were released and you couldn't enjoy them long drives with just a CD playing? I'm going back to the basics just cuz I love ya guys. Come out and be a part of my fourth LIVE CD....no title yet...so please book your tickets now. 

Then I'll be in So Cal in July. I'm just trying to make Cali happy.

Boston Pinoys....I'm gonna be in town this week!

Hey Boston, 

This will be my very first appearance in Boston for ONE NIGHT ONLY on the Boston University campus this April 30th. I have all the news of it on my Calendar page now.

Out to the Universe...two of our own.

It's been a strange and saddening last month for me. A real nice dude and friend, Francis "Master Rapper" Magalona, passed away to leukemia related complications. He inspired a lot of us Pinoy artists to be real to ourselves first and then to our public. His enthusiasm for the Pinoy's ability to shine will be missed dearly. My thoughts go out to his wife and eight children. I'll miss you and your kindness, buddy. 

Another Pinoy great had passed away recently as well. Actor and martial artist, Roland Dantes. If any of you got the chance to see him in "Sticks of Death", you'll forever be changed from that experience. He brought dignity and flash to our people and our eskrima and arnis arts. 

So anyway...back to comedy. 

I'm planning to be in Boston at the end of April so please stay tuned for more info. 

But in the meantime, I'll be playing two shows in Hawaii on April 9th in Maui and the 10th in Honolulu. Check out the calendar.

Back to the Bay for 3 Nights at the Punchline SF...

I just got home from a two great shows in Manila and Cebu. Thanks goes to all the folks that came out over the Bonifacio Day Weekend. Thanks again, to Mike Unson, a really funny standup comic out of Manila...you gotta check him out. 

This week, I head out to San Francisco and do three nights at the famous Punchline SF. I know that Christmas is approaching and you might all be out doing your shopping, or you might even stay home on Saturday night and watch Pacquiao go head-to-head with De La Joya, but don't forget that we all need a little Pinoy comedy in our lives. Bring yourselves and your friends that wanna be Pinoy. You'll truly make their holiday season. 

Hell, after the show we'll all for some Bangsilog at Lucky Chances in fabulous Coma!
