I'll be at the Irvine Improv for Saturday and Sunday only. Check out the Calendar page for all the info.
Thanks to all the folks in Vancouver that came out to the Massey Theatre, it's been awhile and I love visiting your city on the coast. Damn, it was hot! Big thanks to all the boys in Xtscene for making me feel at home again.

Yo, Vancouver...(and Seattle too!)
I'm heading out to Vancouver on Sunday June 29th for one night only. Spread the word to your Seattle friends to head north for this show.
Thanks to all of you in the SF Bay Area that came out to support us over at Cobb's. Sorry to all the folks that came out to the cancelled Thursday show. It was broken plumbing. And thanks to Dave Chappelle for some of the best comedy in a long while at the Punchline.

Obama Did It!!!!
Fellow citizens,
Lemme just tell ya that the country is going to change, really change, starting June 3rd. He clinched the nomination! See, how change can come from just a simple kid from Hawaii? I'm amazed, totally amazed.
Another thing about June 3rd....the new Journey album, "Revelation", with all new music from my favorite 80's band from San Francisco with their new lead vocals, Arnel Pineda....one talented dude from Quezon City, Philippines. I swear that Steve Perry sounds almost like Arnel. I'm more amazed, totally amazed. Go to Wal-Mart and buy it now! Or go to journeymusic.com .
I'll be heading home to SF all next week for another weekend at Cobb's on Columbus. Bring yourselves out for Philippine Independence Day and your dads for Father's Day. Isn't being a father wonderful? I can say it is.
Peace out!
Rex

Back to the Islands...
Howzit y'all?
Hey, I just got back home to Oahu after a real kick-ass time at the Hermosa Beach Comedy & Magic Club. Thanks to all of you in the So Cal Southbay that came out those nights. I wanna thank Kevin Kataoka and Tony Dijamco for joining me, plus a big thanks to Jo Koy for doing a guest set each night!
I'll be taking a short breather this week with the family, until I head out to New York and New Jersey for three dates. I'm at the Laugh Lounge for one night only and in Bergen County right after. Check out the poster below, plus my calendar for all the info.
On my last night in So Cal, I had the pleasure of bumping into actor/comedian Alec Mapa at the Pasadena Whole Foods. If you haven't seen any of this man's work, you are truly missing out. He'll be in the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy, "Don't Mess with the Zohan". Please Google Alec Mapa and you'll become an instant fan. It was a real delight meeting a dude whose work has inspired me over the years since the very beginning. Finally we met...plus he's a fan of my stuff too!
See you all in the East Coast and then I'm back in San Francisco at Cobb's in June....whew! I'm a busy boy.

I'm at the Improv in San Jose...
Sup y'all,
Tonight was the first night at the wonderful San Jose Improv. The theater was designated a historic landmark by the city and has gone through a major renovation. You got to come out to the show just to see this theater. On that very same stage, the likes of Harry Houdini and Charlie Chaplin have performed there. Lotsa history on that wood.
Thanks to all the kind folks up in Sacramento who came out to the Punch Line all last week.
So come out to the Improv in San Jose all this weekend to Sunday night. It's good to be back in the South Bay.

I'm a coming to ya, Sacramento...
Hey there,
Sacramento is gonna be my home base for week or so coming next week at the Punch Line. I know it's been awhile, so I'm coming back like I promised. All the info's on the Calendar of Events page.
I wanna thank all the kind folks who came out and supported the great show last month at El Camino High in SSF for the Asian American Donor Program's comedy event. And I also wanna thank the fellas of AKO at San Jose State for the fine show they put on for the local middle school.
It's been a crazy last couple weeks of Obama news. I hope you're all keeping up with the silliness from the Clinton campaign-in-the-asses. Let's use this time to just let the closet "crackers" show us who they are behind their liberal facades. I wanna thank Ferraro for being the first to take that step.
Have you guys seen Arnel Pineda sing yet? He's freakin' amazing as the new vocalist for the band Journey. Go to Youtube and find him...he's awesome. You go, boy!
All for now,
Rexy

Let's Get Behind Our Obama...
Aloha friends,
I'm here in Hawaii about getting ready to cast my vote in Hawaii's caucus on Tuesday Feb 19th. I'm really worried that a lot of folks here in Hawaii won't go out on Tuesday and make their vote happen. I really believe strongly that it is time for a real change, for a real candidate for change, and for a movement that will take us into a better place. My candidate is Barack Obama.
Please join me in being part of this change. Join the Obama campaign.

I hope to see many of you next week in the Bay Area for the benefit shows I'm gonna be part of.
